Producing Animation Films about Wastewater

Introduction

The work of Al-Muntada is based on the premise that children should not and do not need to be taught what to think but rather be taught how to think. We encourage them to question and discover by utilizing their own abilities and thinking skills.

Main Goal and Objectives

The main goal is to let the student think about creative solution to wastewater problems in the Palestinian Environment as part of the celebration of the World Water Day 2017.

Specifically for this activity, the main objectives are:

  • Training children on Animation and film Making Technology.
  • Production of 3 short animation films about wastewater problems in Palestine
  • Present the films in the occasion of the World Water Day 2017 which is this year under the slogan “Wastewater”.

Activities

1- Organizing a training for 50 hours to 25 students who will be selected carefully to train them on Animation and film making, and help them build their storied.

2- Developing the audiovisual culture and creativity of the participants.

3- Using the new technology in documenting the stories and experience of the participants.

Cinema Language: 2 days, general introduction to cinema

4-Development: 2 Days, developing stories, writing the script, creating storyboards

5-Artwork: 2 Days, creating characters, backgrounds and props.

Animation 2 Days

6-Post-Production: 2 Days composting, sound and visual effect
